After qualifying in 1999, Lysa became Senior Coach to Graham Walker in 2002 and came with him to The Oaks at the beginning of 2004. Lysa has a wealth of experience from playing in WPGA events to the Ladies European Tour. She started playing golf at fourteen years old and has always been driven by success. After three years she triumphed in a National Event, winning the English Girls Abraham Trophy.
Lysa now focuses on her coaching and is highly ambitious and driven, continually seeking to develop as a coach, particularly when helping individuals to reach their full potential.
2018: Lysa is Head Coach to England U16’s, East Midland Boys and has recently been appointed DISE U18’s England Coach. Lysa is the only female coach who coaches at England level. She also became Head Coach to the Yorkshire Ladies, where she oversees the coaching programme from participation to development and on to elite performing within the County. In July 2018 the Yorkshire Ladies won the North Region County Match Week.
Lysa says “I am always developing my own skills and have attended over forty seminars, from Psychology with Karl Morris, Dan Abrahams and even travelled as far a field as Arizona to spend time with Annika Sorenstam’s coaches Pia Nilson and Lynn Marriott at Vision 54. Enjoying Arizona so much I returned to spend time with the renowned Short Game coach Stan Utley”
Recognised as one of the top 100 coaches in UK and Ireland, Lysa was voted by her peers for an Outstanding Achievement Award with England golf. Nominated by the PGA and England Golf, Lysa was invited to attend the Women in High Performance Programme, where she met HRH Princess Anne.
