James is a Class AA PGA Professional having qualified through the Applied Golf Management programme through the University of Birmingham with a 1st class degree. James started his career at the former Ryder Cup Venue the K Club before spending his last 3 years working at the upcoming Ryder Cup venue Adare Manor.
James has a wide range of experience in coaching a variety of different demographics having ran several junior, ladies & men’s team coaching programmes. James has a strong clientele here at The Oaks which he runs alongside being the operations & retail manager of the golf club.
James takes a holistic approach to coaching in which he aims to develop the players goals in a relaxed learning environment. With the brilliant facilities we have at the Oaks lessons can cover all areas of the game from putting, short game, bunker play to full swing as well as on the golf course.
